Who is David?
I have been passionate about travel and flying since I started planning my own trips back in 1998. My journey into the world of points and miles began with my first redemption for a Quebec City - Ottawa round trip ticket using Airmiles that same year. Over the years, I have honed my skills in maximizing the value of my points, whether it’s for family vacations, business trips, or ski adventures. These days, I find it incredibly hard to beat the value and comfort of lie-flat business class seats for trips to Europe and beyond.
My travel experiences are diverse; I have flown solo, with my spouse, with my children (starting as young as six months old), and with extended family and friends. I’ve experienced both economy and business class and have dealt with positioning flights, missed connections, cancelled flights, late checked luggage (though never lost), as well as the occasional broken stroller. Amidst these travel challenges, a visit to an airport lounge is always a welcome relief.
The landscape of earning and redeeming Aeroplan points has evolved significantly over the years, and I have kept pace with these changes.
